Hi! My name is Melissa. I am a Ph.D. candidate in child study and human development at Tufts University. I grew up in the Greater Boston area and was active in USY, Prozdor, Jewish summer camp and local Jewish musical groups. I am currently part of Kavod and formerly part of Honorable Menschen. I am also active in Jewish chronic illness and mental health spaces on social media. On a typical pre-COVID Shabbat, you could find me dancing, singing and playing my tambourine at Kabbalat Shabbat at different synagogues and gatherings across Boston.
