Congregation Beth Elohim welcomes Colette Phillips as honored guest speaker at our 23rd annual Martin Luther King Jr. breakfast. Phillips will speak on “Bridging Communities: Reaffirming the Black-Jewish Alliance.”
Colette A.M. Phillips is president and CEO of Colette Phillips Communications Inc., and founder and president of The GK Fund and the multicultural professional and business networking organization Get Konnected! For 30 years, Colette has been a powerful voice and effective agent of change in Boston. An immigrant Black woman from the Caribbean island of Antigua, she is described by Boston Magazine as “Boston’s Great Connector” and cited by The Boston Globe for “changing the conversation about diversity in Boston.” She is the author of the book “The Includers: The 7 Traits of Cultural Savvy, Anti-Racist Leaders.”
This event will be in person and will also be offered on Zoom. We will be offering a complementary buffet breakfast starting at 9:30 a.m., with the program starting at 10 a.m.
This yearly event draws a large interdenominational audience from within our community and beyond. In order to accommodate all who wish to attend, we request pre-registration for either in person or Zoom attendance.
