Rabbi Art Green will be interviewed by his longtime friend Rabbi Emeritus Lewis Mintz. Rabbi Green’s recent book, “Judaism for the World: Reflections on God, Life, and Love,” won a National Jewish Book award in 2021.
Rabbi Art Green formerly taught at Hebrew College and Brandeis University, and founded the Shalom Havurah in Somerville. He is an expert on the 18th-century spiritual revival movement of Jews in Eastern Europe, and is the leading figure within Neo-Hasidism, the attempt to apply Hasidic teachings to life in the contemporary world.
