It’s 2023 (5783). Does your community have a climate action plan yet? How about carbon reduction goals?
You may have attended one of JCAN’s many trainings over the years, which laid out the basics to get a process rolling. Whether you have or not, the next steps are about developing buy-in for your ideas.
In this interactive session, Jennifer Haugh will offer insights on the elements of successful volunteer efforts and specifically the steps to a stakeholder-engaged climate action planning process. There will be time for Q&A and discussion.
Jennifer Haugh is vice president of planning and customer engagement at GreenerU, a design-build climate action firm that offers services in climate action planning, energy-efficiency engineering and construction project management.
Eric Grunebaum is a long-time climate activist who led Congregation Eitz Chayim in Cambridge to drastically reduce their carbon footprint.
Co-sponsored by Massachusetts Interfaith Power & Light.
