The Celtics, the Bruins—maybe a comedy show? Whether you’re a culture maven or a sports fan, you can eat well at TD Garden regardless. Here are our picks for dining in and around the venue.

TD Garden

Causeway Carvery

This sandwich spot has plenty of burgers and wings, but it also serves salads and hummus, at Loge 16 and Balcony 309.

Kosher Stand

Get your kosher fix at Loge 16, home to a KVH-certified concession stand serving hot dogs.

Enjoy vegan cheese pizza at Sal’s, with locations throughout the stadium (Loge 6 and 17, plus Balcony 307 and 324).

Hub Hall

Greco

This wildly popular Greek fast-casual chain is from the team behind the South End’s much-loved Krasi. Enjoy soft, fluffy pita stuffed with halloumi and hot honey; squash fritters and lemon yogurt; or pea protein meatballs and tomato, plus an assortment of salads and fun sides like zucchini chips and charred eggplant dip. Many options are nut- and dairy-free.

JuicyGreens

If you’re resolving to eat healthier in the New Year, this Jamaica Plain-based, plant-centric wellness café is your spot. You’ll find chia pudding, acai bowls, avocado toast and cold-pressed juices—a virtuous counterpoint to hot dogs and beer.

Momosan Ramen Boston

This is the Boston flagship for “Iron Chef” Masaharu Morimoto. Here, you’ll find an assortment of sushi rolls and ramen, including a spicy vegan version made with miso, tomato, kale, corn and tofu. Bonus: They take reservations, so you won’t be late to your seats.

Naco Taco

This friendly Central Square taqueria (now with a location in Charlestown) also has a window at Hub Hall, where you’ll find veggie-forward dishes like tofu tacos, green chile tortas, kale-cauliflower salad with a zippy lime-thyme dressing and veggie taco bowls.

In the neighborhood

Alcove

This is the closest fine-dining restaurant in the area, and one of Boston’s best (with a soothing waterfront view). Restaurateur Tom Schlesinger-Guidelli (Craigie on Main, Eastern Standard) is in charge here, serving a farm-fresh dinner menu: parsnip soup, mushroom and squash radiatori and a kid’s menu. (Yes, this is a very family-friendly spot, despite the pedigree.) There’s also a fun lunch menu, with smoked salmon and everything bagels, a cheese plate from Formaggio Kitchen and quinoa succotash.

Clover Food Lab

The Financial District branch of Clover is a pleasant 20-minute stroll from TD Garden, home to spicy lentil soup, Impossible plant-based meatballs, chickpea fritters on warm pita and lots more. It’s certified by Lighthouse Kosher.

J.P. Licks

J.P. Licks is a kosher ice cream favorite, and happily, there’s a KVH-certified location on Beacon Hill, about a 15-minute walk away. It’s open until 11 p.m.
