A sure sign of spring: Opening Day at Fenway Park was Tuesday, April 9. Here’s where to find kosher and vegetarian food at the park and nearby.
At Fenway Park itself, a rep confirms that there will be kosher snacks available at vending machines on the Right Field Concourse. Get knishes, hot dogs, pizza, mozzarella sticks and pizza pockets to go. Hometown favorite Grillo’s Pickles is also on site at the Home Plate Concourse and Kids Concourse, plus at the Right Field Roof Box.

Blue Ribbon Brasserie
There are lots of vegetarian options at this brand-new, New York City-based brasserie inside the Hotel Commonwealth, from veggie kabobs with couscous salad to hummus and pita bread, plus a homemade matzo ball soup.
D.W. French
Last year, chef Douglass Williams spoke to JewishBoston about how Judaism affects his outlook on cooking and philanthropy. His new French brasserie steps from the ballpark offers smoked salmon rillettes, trout almondine and an assortment of salads.
Eastern Standard
Now in new digs down the block from its original Kenmore Square location, Eastern Standard’s people-pleasing menu remains: a sinful mac-and-cheese, artichoke agnolotti, salmon in lemon butter and lots more. Service is exceptional.
India Quality
In a neighborhood where restaurants come and go, India Quality remains lovably consistent, offering an assortment of succulent veggie dishes (there are items for meat-eaters, too): veggie samosas, coconut soup, chickpea paneer and lots more.
Time Out Market
While this food hall isn’t kosher, there are a lot of options for every palate: eastern Mediterranean plates from Anoush’ella: chickpea fritters, fattoush salad, shakshouka and more; cold-pressed juices from Squeeze; and Asian-inflected veggie rice bowls from Inchu.
