With more than 3,000 seniors who live with us on six health care and senior living campuses in the Boston area, we are extremely focused on preventing the spread of COVID-19 in our communities and protecting the health and safety of seniors and employees alike.
HSL campuses are now in quarantine, and our infection control procedures at HRC in Roslindale and Dedham are creating feelings of increased isolation among our patients in long-term chronic care.
We need your help.
The staff at each of our campuses and health care sites is amazing, but at this time they can use supplemental help with distributing mail/deliveries, including prepared meals and groceries, and walking dogs.
In order to protect everyone, volunteers will be screened, protective gear must be worn and contact with residents and patients will be minimal if at all.
Please contact us if you or anyone you know (adults only 18 and over) are interested in helping out at an HSL community (Jack Satter House in Revere, Simon C. Fireman Community in Randolph, Orchard Cove in Canton and Center Communities of Brookline). For each volunteer, please provide:
- Name
- Contact info (email, cell phone and address)
- Which day/s and time/s you are available (specific or regular days/times)
Additionally, as you can imagine, there are other costs mounting, so we ask you to consider donating to HSL’s COVID-19 Senior Response Fund to help offset these costs.
