A special holiday service for families with young children open to the entire community (no tickets are required) will be held on the first day of Rosh Hashanah, September 9, in the sanctuary at 4:15 p.m. The service will feature songs, stories and celebration for young children and their parents. Following the service, participants will be joined by other members of the congregation and are invited to walk to Beaver Brook on Boden Lane for a brief Tashlich service at 5:00 p.m.
Our Youth Services are tailored for children in grades Pre-K thru 7th grade and are held on both Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur:
Young Family Service – children age 2 – kindergarten (an adult must remain in the service) 11:00 am-12:30 pm
Youth Services – children in grades 1 thru 7 10:30 am-12:30 pm
Babysitting, by pre-paid reservation only, for children 18 months to 5 years is available from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. each day of Yom Tov.

Please note: for any non-members who attend High Holiday services and subsequently join Temple Israel by the end of the (secular) year, the price of their tickets will be applied toward their first year’s membership dues. Where there is financial hardship, due can be adjusted. No one is denied membership due to fiscal restraints.
