The Temple Emanuel (TE) Preschool is opening enrollment applications for the 2022-2023 school year beginning on Dec. 20.
Parents who are interested in enrolling their child(ren) in the preschool are invited to take a tour of the facility with director Andrea Stein. Enrollment is open on a rolling basis until spots are filled. Eligible children must be at least 15 months old by Sept. 6. The curriculum focuses on the social and emotional growth and development of each child with a strong emphasis on learning about Jewish traditions and values. Children are separated into groups by age, which include the toddler program (15 months to 2.9 years), the preschool program (2.9 years) and the pre-kindergarten program (4- to 5-year-olds).
The TE preschool offers extended hours (early drop-off is from 8-9 a.m. and extended day is from 1-3:30 p.m.). The core school day is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Extended day and early drop-off activities may include free play time, gardening, music classes and more.
Founded in 1937, the TE Preschool has been educating young children for over 70 years. The preschool was voted the No. 1 preschool by the Wicked Local Readers Choice Awards.
