There was shock and fear
Where autumn should have been.

There was anger and grief
Where winter should have been.

There was depression and grit
Where spring should have been.

There was exhaustion and anxiety
Where summer should have been.

There is alertness and uncertainty
Where autumn should be,
And nature will have to wait once again…
Will there ever be just winter or spring again?
