Boston-area families considering a Jewish education for their K-8 students just got some excellent news. The first 15 students from new families who apply to MetroWest Jewish Day School (MWJDS) by March 15 and enroll for the 2022-23 school year will lock in a $15,000 per year tuition rate for two years, with only modest increases thereafter to account for inflation.

New Applicants Lock in Rate Through Graduation

“We are grateful for the generous support of philanthropists in our community who enabled us to open our individualized, experiential educational model to even more students of all Jewish backgrounds and practices,” said Brian Cohen, head of school. MWJDS, nestled in a wooded, tranquil part of Framingham, serves students from as far east as Brookline and as far west as Worcester. While many students start in pre-K or kindergarten, families transfer to MWJDS every year seeking smaller class sizes, collaboration with proactive teachers and a program in which each child can spread their academic and social wings and excel.

Deadline for Applications is March 15, 2022

“MWJDS has had a magical impact on our family. We feel so fortunate to have our two children at the school,” said Benjamin Kahn, a Newton resident and MWJDS vice president of development. “With affordability being one of the biggest barriers to families being able to provide their kids with a Jewish day school education, this program is yet another example of MWJDS’s model being at the leading edge of Jewish day schools.”

MetroWest Jewish Day School also offers a “Just Right” tuition model tied primarily to each family’s adjusted gross income, and a traditional financial aid pathway.

Prospective families interested in learning why MWJDS is in a class of its own are invited to register for a March 3 virtual open house here. For any questions, contact Gary Alpert, MWJDS director of enrollment, at 508-620-5554 or info@mwjds.org.
