The Jewish Genealogical Society of Greater Boston is dedicated to helping people discover and research their Jewish family history. Wondering how to get started?
At an upcoming Beginner’s Workshop on October 16, Carol Clingan and Debra Lerner will talk about how to start your family research. They will describe the major records, repositories and the principal sources of online records. You will leave this workshop eager to get started on your own family tree. The fee is $10 for members & $15 for non-members. Pay at the door. The $15 non-member fee will also cover admission to the afternoon lecture, Nolan Altman’s lecture on The Genealogical Value of Jewish Burial Records.
JGSGB welcomes beginners and has expert members with a broad range of skills in various research techniques who are happy to help others. Go to JGSGB.ORG for more information on the full calendar of programs and events, special interest groups, expert help, membership and more.
