I am looking for one-minute true stories to be told on camera for part of the filming of a short film as part of my Community Creative Fellowship with Jewish Arts Collaborative.
In 2021, I began development of a short film project called “The Seltzer Factory,” where I explore my family history in Hungary/Romania and a very special connection to seltzer.
In some way, we all have that special story, special recipe or connection to food and nourishment that glides through the generations in families, connecting us and our larger family stories.
Do you have a story you would like to share?
I would love to hear your stories: family histories that also tie to food or beverages, or special memories or anecdotes that make you feel connected to past generations in your family or future generations. I am looking to film, on camera, these one-minute true stories and include them in the film.
If you are interested, please contact jaimeb@jartsboston.org.
We can’t wait to hear your stories!
