18Doors, a national organization dedicated to fostering inclusion of interfaith families in Jewish communities across North America, is pleased to announce the appointment of Sarah Levitin to its Board of Directors.

Based in Dedham, Sarah is a senior organizational transformation consultant at Mass General Brigham and a career/branding coach. With an MBA from Boston University’s Questrom School of Business and a certification in career coaching, she brings a wealth of expertise in organizational development and user-centered design.

Sarah’s commitment to interfaith inclusion is deeply personal. 18Doors has been an important support for her interfaith family—her husband is Catholic, and they are raising their daughter, Esther, Jewish—offering a safe space for belonging and resources to create what they define as a “Jew-ish” family. “For that,” she added, “I am eternally grateful.”

She shared, “18Doors spoke to me specifically as my family came to this country for the sole purpose of giving the opportunity to my and future generations to freely practice our religion without persecution or censorship.”

In her new role on the board, Sarah hopes to leverage her unique perspective on organizational design to help further 18Doors’ mission. “My superpower is enabling a group of people to think with the strategic perspective of ‘user-centered’ design. In addition to organizational development and design thinking, I am excited to lend my expertise in evolving and sustaining branding and authenticity during times of change and beyond.” Sarah also enjoys building connections and nurturing a sense of belonging, which aligns perfectly with the values of 18Doors.

Sarah added, “We are all American, but that does not mean we are a one-size-fits-all! I am eager to experience a diverse school of thought that will challenge me and expand my understanding of the world around me.”

18Doors is thrilled to welcome Sarah Levitin to the board and looks forward to the passion and leadership she brings.
