Sigd

Sigd 2025 begins the evening of Wednesday, Nov. 19, and ends the evening of Thursday, Nov. 20. Sigd is an Ethiopian Jewish (Beta Israel) holiday celebrated exactly 50 days after Yom Kippur. It is thought to be the date on which God first revealed himself to Moses. Since 2008, Sigd has been officially recognized as a state holiday in Israel.
