Summer Excelerator is a pilot, five-week-long paid internship program for current high school sophomores, juniors and seniors. The program matches high-school students with internships at a variety of public and private sector employers throughout New York City. Summer Excelerator blends this real-world professional experience with leadership development training and Jewish identity building.
Summer Excelerator uses New York City as its canvas for participants to explore their identities while gaining valuable professional and leadership skills. This program is more than just a job. You’ll gain:
- Confidence as you apply for college knowing you have a university-based program on your resume
- Entrepreneurial skills that will put you a step ahead of your peers
- A new network of friends and colleagues that will contribute to a life-changing summer
By participating in Summer Excelerator, you’ll get a taste of what it’s like to be a student at NYU by receiving access to NYU’s campus and facilities. And the best part? After the summer, you’ll receive a $500 stipend and an NYU certificate of completion demonstrating your participation in the program.
