The Sephardic Community of Greater Boston, also called “Kol Sasson and Benei Shaul,” was founded in the early 1980s by visionary and dedicated Sephardic community members living in Greater Boston (mostly Brighton and Brookline). The synagogue, which serves as the center of Sephardic Jewish life for the Boston area, offers a wide variety of Torah classes and daily minyanim.
Rabbi Aaron Hamaoui is the rabbi of the congregation.
The prayer services are conducted according to the traditions of Middle Eastern Sephardic Jews.
