Friday night with OneTable is all about feeling good, and we’re looking at ways to keep that magic of Shabbat, while protecting the health and safety of one another. We know that this is difficult and isolating — but we hope that even anticipating Shabbat provides you with a moment to exhale.
OneTable Shabbat in the Time of COVID-19
Physical social distancing is hard – but we’re following the current health authority advice and it’s what we need to do. Please only host the people you live with. If you live alone, we’re dreaming up new ways to gather virtually and build online Shabbat community.

We want to be as generous and supportive as possible during these changes. Shabbat happens every week whether there are 15 people at your table or you’re lighting candles alone, so we’ve been working to create as many resources to help you gather virtually and build online Shabbat community. During this time, we cannot allow dinners on the platform that are in-person, unless it’s for the people you live with. Social distancing is crucial right now, and we’re all a part of the effort. Because of this, we’ve temporarily lifted the restrictions on the minimum of people needed to host a OneTable dinner. We’re here to nourish you and your roommate(s), or even just you creating the space to make your Friday night a little special. We invite you to be in touch with our staff for support, and to continue to join and use our new Facebook Group Virtual Community to connect with each other.
