Epstein Hillel School (EHS) is a pluralistic PreK-8 Jewish community day school in Marblehead, MA, a historic seaside town north of Boston. At EHS, students explore new ideas through hands-on classroom experiences, and they are encouraged to take risks and grow as learners and young leaders as they move from elementary to upper school in a supportive and inclusive environment. EHS provides rigorous interdisciplinary and second-language curricula that foster critical thinking, curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning. Teachers and faculty at EHS recognize students’ individual strengths, challenging them to reach their full potential. Through student-led social action initiatives, EHS builds students’ character and integrity and teaches values grounded in Judaism.
“Anu” (Hebrew for “all of us”) is a defining theme at EHS, where every student and family is welcomed, respected, and appreciated for what they bring to the school, enriching the EHS experience for the entire community.
EHS offers unique resources for all grade levels, including a state-of-the-art STEM innovation center; social-emotional learning curricula; dedicated student support faculty; community service and leadership opportunities; a dual-path Jewish Studies program; a robust selection of after-school clubs; and much more.
EHS students and alumni are known for their academic achievement, self-confidence, leadership skills, strong Jewish identity, and profound sense of social responsibility. Upon graduation, students are well prepared for high school and beyond.
