Welcome to Camp Micah! Founded in 2001, Camp Micah is a traditional, Jewish, coed, overnight summer camp for campers ages 7-15. Micah sits on the shore of fabulous Peabody Pond, on the town line between Bridgton and Sebago, Maine. We are located two-and-a-half hours from Boston and 45 minutes from Portland. Campers come to Micah each year for four- and eight-week sessions at our fabulous lakefront facility.
In addition to a wide array of activities, you will find a caring and fun environment. When we say we have something for everyone, we mean it.
Our well-rounded program lets us offer sports, arts, waterfront and individual activities. We also offer trips and special event days throughout each session.
The most important thing is to be a fair and honest person who is compassionate to and accepting of others, while being who you are and trying to better yourself. Camp Micah provides a safe, stimulating and challenging environment infused with Jewish traditions and values that promote the building of self esteem, social relationships, resilience and skill development in a strong, vibrant community.
Led by our experienced team of directors, our staff is hired very selectively and come to camp for the right reasons! Camp Micah only selects staff members that truly understand all that is involved in building a camper’s confidence and self-esteem. Judaism is woven into the fabric of life at Micah by connecting campers to their rich Jewish heritage.
Our truly unique and spirited Friday night services, coupled with our exciting, creative and educational Shabbat programs, make being Jewish fun! Although Camp Micah is not a kosher camp, we do not serve pork or shellfish at meals.
