Join Boston 3G and IAC (Israeli American Council) for a meaningful family-friendly Yom HaShoah event as we honor Holocaust Remembrance Day with a short walk from the Massachusetts State House to the New England Holocaust Memorial. Together, we will gather to paint rocks of remembrance, share in the power of music and poetry, and recite Kaddish as a community. This event is an opportunity for people of all ages to reflect, remember, and ensure that the stories of the past continue to be told for generations to come.
Schedule:
- 10:30 a.m. Arrival, directions & schmooze
- 11:15 a.m. 6 million steps walk from State House to NEHM (20-minute walk)
- 11:35 a.m. Rocks of remembrance for kids at NEHM
- 11:45 a.m. Yom HaShoah ceremony at NEHM
- 12 p.m. Unity Kaddish with Greater Boston community, CJP & JCRC
- 12:30 p.m. Boston 3G lunch & schmooze (family-friendly)
