Join us as we partner with Freedom for All Massachusetts for a day of door-to-door canvassing in Framingham in support of the campaign to uphold transgender rights in Massachusetts.
In case you didn’t know, this November, Massachusetts voters need to come out and vote YES on 3 in support of public protections for the state’s transgender citizens or those protections will be lost. Let’s stand up for trans rights and share the message to VOTE YES on 3 to uphold discrimination protections for transgender people in public spaces!
Face-to-face conversations are the most effective way of opening hearts and minds and gaining support for trans rights. As Jews we honor our obligation to fight for a society that ensures the humanity and dignity of all people. All of us are created b’tzelem Elohim, in God’s image.
Whether you’re a veteran canvasser or new to door-knocking, we hope you can join us! This event is open to all and will include a training on how to be an effective canvasser, including how to share the message of the campaign and responding to frequently asked questions.
Light refreshments will be served. Dietary guidelines will be observed.
This event is co-sponsored by Yes on 3, the Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Boston, the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism, the Massachusetts Board of Rabbis, the Anti-Defamation League and the Jewish Alliance for Law and Social Action.
