Looking for a way to give back this winter? Join CJP Women’s Philanthropy for an evening of hands-on philanthropy to benefit the JF&CS Center for Early Relationship Support (CERS). Since 1989, CERS has been supporting parents as they manage the challenges of caring for their baby.
Together, we’ll create winter bundles to donate to new parents. We’ll also learn how CJP—together with our partner agencies—is committed to sustaining and expanding the safety net for struggling families and individuals through our work.
If you’d like to bring items to the event to donate for the winter bundles, here is the list of CERS needs:
- Adult hats and gloves (can be lightly used)
- Hand warmers
- Hot chocolate mix (does not have to be kosher)
- Lip balm
- Tissue packets
- Cozy socks
- Similar items such as ear muffs, lotion and other personal care products
Alternatively, on the registration page, you can select the “Fill a Bundle” to make an $18 donation that will be used to buy supplies. This optional gift is in addition to your event fee.
Wine and light hors d’oeuvres will be served.
