This is a one-time introduction to the new Wise Aging program that will be offered at Beth El by Rabbi Josh Breindel and Cantor Vera Broekhuysen.
Beth El’s Wise Aging program is based on the book “Wise Aging: Living with Joy, Resilience, and Spirit” by Rabbi Rachel Cowan and Dr. Lynda Thal. Join Rabbi Josh and Cantor Vera for an interactive introduction to the program, which will begin in November and continue through May 2025, with sessions facilitated by members and clergy. Topics will include cultivating nourishing relationships, accepting our aging bodies, forgiveness, living with loss, legacy and more. At each session, participants will have opportunities for text study, personal sharing and mindfulness meditation.
This hybrid session will last 90 minutes. At 8:30, we will take 30 minutes for dessert and schmoozing.
