Out of concern for community health in the midst of the coronavirus epidemic, this event has been canceled. We hope to reschedule it for later in the year.
Breathe life into your extra soul in this music-filled Shabbat gathering!
Join us for Asiyah’s second Shabbaton with musician, songwriter and prayer-leader extraordinaire Yoel Sykes of Nava Tehila, the Jerusalem-based musical group and prayer community.
In this unique Shabbaton experience, we’ll explore the neshama yetera (extra soul), which Jewish tradition says is available to us on Shabbat. Through musical prayer, text learning, small-group work and movement, we’ll explore the neshama yetera in relationship with self, community and divinity.
Find the full weekend schedule here.
Kids 12 and under are free. Limited work-trade discounts are available. For more info about this or anything else, email info@asiyah.org.
