Infuse intentionality and effective pedagogical techniques into teaching about Israel with The iCenter.
In today’s climate, it is essential to have trained educators and engagement professionals providing tools and support to Jewish students. In order to accomplish this, educators working on the front lines must possess rich knowledge and tools for bringing Israel into the hearts and minds of Jewish youth and young adults.
This five-session series from Combined Jewish Philanthropies and The iCenter presents a pivotal opportunity to fulfill pressing needs within the Jewish educational landscape in Boston.
Session 3: A Window Into Israeli Society Through TV, Music, and Art
This session delves into the intricate tapestry of Israel, inviting participants to engage with the nuanced complexities that lie at the heart of the country’s diverse identity. With a rich historical backdrop shaping contemporary society, our exploration unfolds through a dynamic interplay of interactive workshops, insightful readings, and guided discussions. Through the use of various lenses and mediums, we aim to provide participants with a comprehensive and multifaceted understanding of life in Israel.
Session topics are subject to change as the situation in Israel evolves.
This is part of a series of programs with The iCenter for educators and engagement professionals who work with teens, campus and young adults. While it is not required to attend all sessions, sessions build on each other and we recommend full participation. Contact Leah for more information.
