Coming off the heels of AIPAC and leading into the Israeli election, The Elie Wiesel Center for Jewish Studies is thrilled to host such a timely conversation on the increasingly contentious debate, here in the U.S., on Israel and Palestine.

The 2019 Yitzhak Rabin Lecture is titled “U.S. Jews and Israel: Are We Headed for Divorce?” The Atlantic contributing editor Peter Beinart will join a group of panelists for what will be a thought-provoking and important discussion.

  • Rachel Fish, senior advisor and resident scholar at the Paul E. Singer Foundation
  • Eve Spangler, associate professor of sociology at Boston College
  • Dov Waxman, professor of political science, international affairs and Israel studies, and the Stotsky Professor of Jewish Historical and Cultural Studies at Northeastern University

Moderator:

  • Lori Lefkovitz, Ruderman Professor and Director of the Jewish Studies Program and Director of the Humanities Center at Northeastern University
