We will have a webinar devoted to preparing for our annual lobby day on Tu Bishvat, which will be held this year on Feb. 13. It will include breakout sessions by state. We hope you can join us live for this meeting, but there will be a recording.

Please also join us on Tu Bishvat to speak virtually with your United States senators. We make it very easy to lobby, as we arrange the appointment, provide talking points, and you are with others in the meeting, including the state lead who is specially trained. This is probably not the year that we’re going to see revolutionary changes in climate and energy policy, but this is the perfect time to tell our senators to hold the line and keep the good policies we do have, including the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA).

We in Massachusetts are fortunate to have senators who focus on scientifically-based energy and climate policy as well as environmental justice. They’re doing a great job, and they need to hear from us that we want them to keep doing it. Other people have senators who need to hear from regular Jews who care about preserving a habitable world, energy independence, preserving God’s creation, or protecting animals and human health. We want to give you relevant messages to use with your senators.
