Temple Israel of Boston and the Riverway Project are proud to partner with the Ruderman Synagogue Inclusion Project as we welcome Joanne L. Harpel, president of Coping After Suicide, and Rabbi Geoffrey A. Mitelman, founding director of Sinai and Synapses, for an important afternoon of conversation.
Joanne Harpel and Rabbi Mitelman have dedicated much of their professional lives to helping others engage in open, honest and productive conversations around mental health, depression and suicide.
The afternoon will feature deep Jewish learning about mental health, personal stories surrounding stigma and conversations about how mental health issues show up in our personal and professional lives. In the days leading up to our Purim masquerade, how can we take off our masks and show our truest selves?
Please reach out to Rabbi Jen Gubitz for more information or with any questions.
This gathering is sponsored by the Ruderman Synagogue Inclusion Project.
