Join New Israel Fund New Generations and Boston Partners for Peace for a Chanukah party unlike any other! We are thrilled to feature Rula Daood, co-national director of NIF grantee Standing Together/Omdim b’Yachad, Israel’s Jewish-Arab grassroots movement.
Founded in 2015, Standing Together is organizing hundreds of Jews and Arabs locally and nationally throughout Israel around campaigns for peace, equality and social justice in order to build power and transform Israeli society.
Rula will share some of Standing Together’s recent successes, including a massive increase in the level of political engagement among Palestinian Israelis and a shift toward mainstreaming Jewish-Arab political partnership on every level.
We hope you will join us for this Festival of Rights to celebrate successful grassroots organizing and the movement for a more equal and democratic future for all Israelis. Our celebration will also include drinks and Chanukah treats to kick off the holiday season!
