Calling all 20s/30s! Introducing a series of art workshops. Led by local artists. Centered on Jewish holidays.

Have you ever decorated a sukkah?

Our first workshop will be led by artist Caron Tabb. This workshop will focus on learning the art of sewing, which binds our stories together in more ways than one. Tabb has designed the decorative walls of our sukkah and is inviting us to help stitch it together. No prior experience necessary. This is an opportunity to learn a new craft, connect to the holiday of Sukkot from a new perspective, and meet other young professionals in the city.

For the month of October, Tabb’s sukkah decoration will be part of a public art exhibition called “In the Aftermath,” part of our fall series that uses art, storytelling and music to help us honor the anniversary of the Oct. 7 attacks.

This program includes an artist-led workshop on the art of sewing, a discussion about the artistic matter itself, and time to mingle and nosh.

In partnership with The Covenant Foundation.
