Congregation Beth Israel in Andover invites parents, grandparents, and all who appreciate teachers to a Teacher Appreciation Shabbat Chai at CBI. The evening will begin with dinner, which is being sponsored by the Heifetz family in memory of Hannah Heifetz, a lifelong learner and a greatly respected and admired teacher for several decades. The spirited service will feature the musical group Bashert accompanying congregational singing. The suggested donation for the dinner is $10 per person, maximum of $25 per family; there is no charge for children 12 and under, or for anyone who will be experiencing Shabbat Chai for the first time. Please RSVP by Wednesday, May 13, and let Amy know if anyone in your party has a food allergy or dietary restrictions.
