Join us for the first in our “Jewish CultureFest: Food, Music and YOU!,” a three-part online series.
Our upcoming interactive workshops celebrate culinary and musical traditions from around the Jewish world through the lens of three Jewish holidays. You’ll learn about the cross-cultural and inter-religious influences that are woven throughout Jewish life and participate in a variety of interactive cooking and tasting activities.
Our first workshop is a cross-cultural exploration of Hanukkah and Christmas with music, text learning and a participatory culinary experience. The instructors are Rabbi Or Rose, director of the Miller Center of Interreligious Learning & Leadership of Hebrew College, and Samir Selmanovic, Ph.D., founder of The Kitchenhood, a cross-generational community dedicated to cooking mastery.
