What is NFTY Northeast? NFTY is a national Reform Jewish youth movement that brings together Grades 8-12 teenagers from all different areas for social and social action opportunities. Our region (sub-section) of NFTY is NFTY Northeast, which includes Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, upstate New York and Montreal. As a URJ congregation, our synagogue youth group (and junior youth group), STIFTY, is affiliated with NFTY for regional events.
What is Spring Conclavette? Spring Conclavette is one of NFTY’s quintessential immersive overnight experiences, a weekend full of uplifting Jewish teen community, teen-led programming, and engaging camp-style prayer and spirituality experiences. NFTY Conclavettes are held at a host synagogue with host home hospitality, meaning our teenagers get to share a close-knit experience in another Jewish community. Conclavettes are a great opportunity to build upon friendships with teens from your own synagogue community, as well as to form and strengthen connections with teens from other synagogues!
