Experience the shofar like never before! The Shofar Factory is a hands-on workshop for the very young and the young at heart, and it’s coming to Cape Ann!
Allow yourself to be guided through the step-by-step process of crafting your very own beautiful shofar. The fun begins with hollowing, cleaning, and measuring the cured horn. Participants will help sand, polish, and shellac a ram’s horn to create a genuine kosher shofar, as well as gain new insight and significance of the shofar, how to blow it, and its role during the High Holiday season. Plus enjoy some holiday-themed treats and activities!
It’s a blast for the entire family and guaranteed to inspire as we prepare to greet the Jewish new year on Rosh Hashanah.
