Join JArts, Hillel Council of New England, alumni, parents and current students for an uplifting celebration of light as we close out Shabbat together with a communal Havdalah experience.
In the face of an alarming 400%+ rise in antisemitic acts since Oct. 7, it’s time for a beacon of light. Shabbat of Love invites Jewish parents, alumni and students nationwide to stand together against fear and hatred by coming together as a community to close out Shabbat meaningfully.
Harvard’s recent data is concerning: 48% of college-aged students siding with Hamas adds urgency to our cause. As Jewish students face growing harassment, it’s important to be a part of this gathering to help amplify our shared message.
This isn’t just an event; it’s a shared experience. Choose your setting, whether it’s a cozy living room, dorm room or an intimate space with family and friends. Join JArts, Hillel Council of New England and JFNA in supporting students in campuses across the U.S. for a Havdalah video message that you can share with others on campuses and in homes across the nation.
Gather together with pride, solidarity and love.
This is not a live event, rather a video of a Havdalah service that you can watch at any point, beginning at 6 p.m. You are invited to engage with the video in ways that are meaningful for you, like host a party or stream from your phone. We want people to take a moment to end their Shabbat feeling part of something unifying!
