With the Jewish community having just suffered the worst attack on American Jews in U.S. history, we now find ourselves in yet another moment of deep grief. This attack, however, will not deter us from the embrace of community, nor frighten us away from our synagogue home.
This Shabbat our interfaith partners and civic leaders will join us, in prayer and song, as we do what we do on Shabbat: kindle light. Their presence will enable our light to shine even brighter as we come together for a powerful Shabbat of Comfort, Community and Courage.
