As we approach the one-year anniversary of the Ukraine war, Jewish Federations are joining with our partners at JDC to mark a “Shabbat for Ukrainian Jews.” As we celebrate Shabbat collectively, we encourage families to incorporate reflections on the difficulties still faced by our community in Ukraine during their Shabbat celebrations, with guidance for candle-lighting, Shalom Aleichem and Hamotzi.
Families can use this one-pager to guide their reflections.
