Join Molly from 18Doors Boston and Sarah Wasser McCoobery for a virtual evening of cocktail-making for interfaith couples in their 20s and 30s. Sarah will share her years of experience as a bartender to get us in the spirit for Passover.
While the Passover seder (traditional meal) features four glasses of wine, we’re changing things up this year and creating two different kosher-for-Passover mocktails inspired by the flavors of the seder plate: This Bitter Be Good (an ode to the bitter herb) and Beet to the Bone (your favorite vegetarian representation of the shank bone). Don’t know why we would care about shank bones or bitter herbs? We’ll explain and you can learn here. We’ll mix up some mocktails, share ideas for turning them into cocktails and talk about some of the modern symbols we see on the seder plate.
Ingredients list and a list of tools/equipment needed will be emailed to participants upon registration. Questions? Don’t hesitate to contact Molly at molly@18doors.org.
