URJ 6 Points Sci-Tech Academy East will be offering innovative programming this summer in STEM education, community-building and Jewish ritual, all through the lens of our mission as a values-based hub of Jewish innovation and discovery.
As part of our virtual academy, we will have weeklong small-group skill-building intensives, STEM learning sessions with area experts, a weekly virtual rendition of our “Boker Big Bang” morning ritual, community-building activities and hangouts like Shabbat Shalectives and Sababa, Let’s Talk Torah meetups for each of our age units, and innovative Jewish rituals like Minecraft & Midrash, Kabbalat Shabbat and Havdalah to make every Shabbat a memorable one this summer.
This program is an act of love given by our incredible staff who are all volunteering their expertise and time this summer to support our community in this unprecedented moment.
