When absurdity becomes the norm, how do you keep things absurd? That’s the daily challenge for the staff of The Mideast Beast, a website that could best be described as “The Onion for the least funny part of the world.”

Chat live with Alexander Giles, editor-in-chief of the site, as we talk about how fake news can actually top the real thing and get laughs in the process.

To participate:

  1. To ask questions, go to israel360.org and open an account using Facebook, Twitter, or your email. (It will not post to any social media ever.) The event is here, and we’re taking questions now!
  2. To simply follow along and read others’ questions, no account is necessary. Just go here at noon on Wednesday, June 14, when Alexander will be answering live. Or ask a question now and check back.
  3. Find our JewishBoston blog post and israel360 podcast after the event highlighting Alexander’s responses (and see any AMA events you missed).
