Join us for High Holiday services at the historic Walnut Street Synagogue in Chelsea! Our spacious 1,100-seat sanctuary has plenty of room for you, your family and friends. We are pleased to welcome Cantor Steven W. Dress, who will be leading services this year, along with Saadia Weisenberg.

Hazzan Dress is an accomplished cantor with a lifelong connection to the Jewish community in Greater Boston. As a teenager, he frequently accompanied his grandfather, Charles Handlin, z”l, to the Walnut Street Synagogue, where learning Shabbat zemirot and synagogue customs contributed to shaping his future. Now, as Temple Israel of Sharon’s cantor emeritus, Hazzan Dress and his wife, Myrna, are delighted to return north to Chelsea during this sacred season.

There is no charge to attend services, but donations are suggested.
