Our community speaker series presents the 32nd annual commemoration of Kristallnacht, featuring four Maimo alumni who will speak about Rabbi Isaiah Wohlgemuth (z”l), a Kristallnacht survivor. He was a longtime teacher at Maimonides and his teachings had a profound impact on tefillah at Maimonides in the past and still today.

- Dr. Steven Bayme, ’67, director of contemporary Jewish life, American Jewish Committee
- Attorney Abraham Katz, ’71, founding director, The Beurei Hatefila Institute
- Tova Katz, ’01, former student of Rabbi Wohlgemuth
- Rabbi Asher Lopatin, ’82, executive director, JCRC/AJC Detroit
