Join us for “Beyond Duty: Diplomats Recognized as Righteous Among the Nations.” During the Holocaust, some diplomats from around the world independently defied the direct orders of their governments in order to save the lives of countless Jews from the Nazis.

This program will feature a presentation by professor Michael Grodin to provide historical context and a panel discussion with Boston-area consuls general who will discuss the legacy of the righteous diplomats.

5 p.m. Panel discussion and keynote (Conference Auditorium)

This event is free and open to the public.

Hosted and co-sponsored by AJC New England, The Consulate General of Israel to New England, Boston University Jewish Cultural Endowment, The Elie Wiesel Center for Jewish Studies and the Program in Holocaust, Genocide and Human Rights Studies.
