Join Kolbo Fine Judaica Gallery as we welcome Rabbi Ariel Burger, a devoted protégé and friend of Holocaust survivor Elie Wiesel. Burger’s National Jewish Book Award-winning work, “Witness: Lessons from Elie Wiesel’s Classroom,” is a chronicle of the intimate conversations between these two men over decades. Rabbi Burger was at times both student and assistant to Wiesel, and sought counsel on matters of intellect, spirituality and the Jewish religion.
During this book reading and book discussion, Burger will take us into the sacred space of Elie Wiesel’s classroom, showing not only an extraordinary human being, but also a master teacher. Signed copies of “Witness” will be available for purchase.
This event is free and open to the public; light refreshments will be served! Enjoy a 10 percent discount on your in-store purchases made during the event (some restrictions apply).
“Listening to a witness makes you a witness.”
