Join us in celebrating Purim! We’ll read the Magillah, with hilarious spiel in between the chapters. Chapter 7 will be leyned in Yiddish! We’ll share a pizza and salad dinner with hamantashen to keep our strength up for all the laughing and grogger-ing. Costumes encouraged, but not required.
The Havurah is again participating in Yad Chessed’s Purim tzedakah program. Yad Chessed provides food assistance and other aid to Jewish families in need. Half the funds we raise on Purim will go to Yad Chessed, and half to the Havurah’s own tzedakah fund.
