Join Kerem Shalom as we celebrate Pride Month with Rabbi Darby Leigh, Kerem Shalom Cantor Rosalie Gerut, and guest speaker Eli Sobel, Greater Boston education and training manager for Keshet.

Keshet envisions a world where all LGBTQ Jews and their families can live with full equality, justice, and dignity. By strengthening Jewish communities and equipping Jewish organizations with the skills and knowledge they need to make all LGBTQ Jews feel welcome, they work to ensure the full equality of all LGBTQ Jews and families in Jewish life. They also create spaces in which all queer Jewish youth feel seen and valued and advance LGBTQ rights nationwide.

Eli brings their love of words and storytelling to their work as an educator to people of all ages. Eli has taught at numerous institutions on the intersection of LGBTQ+ identity and culture with Jewish identity and practice. Eli lives outside Boston and enjoys serving as the education and training team’s regional representative in Greater New England.

All are invited to join us for an oneg following the service.
