Join us for an evening of rich narratives and visual storytelling that celebrates our diverse Jewish cultural pasts and present. “Zazu Dreams: Between the Scarab and the Dung Beetle, A Cautionary Fable for the Anthropocene Era,” Dr. Cara Judea Alhadeff’s cross-cultural climate justice book and animated film adaptation, will offer practices of gratitude rooted in Jewish eco-spirituality.

Spiritual diversity and biodiversity, human and wildlife ecosystems in balance, Sephardic and Mizrahi ancient technologies and ancestral wisdoms offer how to transform our industrial-waste, self-destructive modern infrastructures. Collectively we will build a strong sense of interconnectedness leading to individual and group empowerment.

Co-sponsored by Brandeis Hillel, Brandeis Environmental Studies, Jewish Climate Action Network-MA (JCAN-MA) and Student Environmental Action (SEA).
