Pole/Nordic walking, using two walking poles, benefits those with Parkinson’s by improving stability, posture, and coordination. Led by Heather Mistry, PT, DPT, learn pole fitting, walking techniques, stair negotiation, and incorporating poles into strength and balance exercises.

Try Activator Walking Poles during the session; bring your own if you have them. Best for those who can walk independently or with a cane and stand for at least 10 minutes. Participants must have a Parkinson’s diagnosis; care partners can observe for free.
