By popular demand, “Heading Home: The Tale of Team Israel” returns to West Newton Cinema! The film opens in theaters everywhere on May 10 with multiple shows daily.
“Heading Home” tells the unbelievable story of the Jewish-American Major Leaguers who gave Team Israel a Cinderella run at the 2017 World Baseball Classic. It has earned rave reviews and won best documentary awards at the Philadelphia, Washington, Boca Raton and Stamford Jewish film festivals.
Director Jeremy Newberger will host Q&As following most weekend shows. Jeremy will also be hosting giveaways for special Boston Red Sox merch, as well as Team Israel T-shirts, and The Mensch on a Bench will be available for photos all weekend long.
